Encounter Festival
Encounter Festival is one of Preston’s cultural highlights and we were delighted to be chosen to develop a new brand identity for the annual event.
Exploring the unexpected; the chance meetings and happenings-upon that the festival facilitates and encourages. Bringing together simple visual elements to create unpredictable moments of surprise and delight.
The logo mark reflects this idea of coming upon something unexpectedly, while also referencing one of the event’s main spectacles – the torchlight procession and firework finale.
We built a close and collaborative relationship with the wonderful Encounter Team at Preston City Council, producing templates and guides for the team to take forward and develop their socials and website.
