TAKEN, the second Contemporary Heritage commission from Mid Pennine Arts, awarded to contemporary classical composer Ailís Ní Ríain, is a unique sound installation in the Clitheroe Castle Keep. TAKEN is inspired by the story of the Lancashire witches, and imagines how the 12 accused individuals might have felt during their final four months in captivity awaiting trial.

We won a five-way pitch to design the branding and literature for the project.
